Annular BOP

MSP/DRILEX offers a complete range of annular BOPs with bore sizes from 7-1/16" to 21-1/4" and working pressures up to 15,000 psi. The annular BOP utilizes special packing element which seal reliably on almost any sharp or size kellys, drilling pipes, tool joins, drilling collars, casing or wire line and provides a long stripping life. It provides positive pressure control for stripping drilling pipe into and out of the hole. Its simple, compact design makes it work reliably and steadily.

The MSP/DRILEX M-A annualr BOP is designed especially for surface installations and it is also used on offshore platforms.

Rotating BOP

MSP/DRILEX offers Rotating BOP as key underbalanced drilling equipment. It applies active rotating air-tight design to solve the problems in underbalanced drilling and operations with pressure.

Rotating BOP is formed by adding rotating packing element on normal Annular BOP while employing high pressure rotating air-tight technology to protect and seal hydraulic system and bearing. To ensure air-tight performance, the autocompensation function was added to packing element since frequent contact with drilling pipe joint causes serious abrasion on packing element.

The Rotating BOP is designed according to relative API standard therefore all the technical target and service performance are competitive among sister products in the industry. The Rotating BOP is one of the best choice for underbalanced drilling operation while its outstanding function and extra safty have been proved by wide applying on job site for many years.

Rotating Control Head

MSP/DRILEX offers a complete range of underbalanced drilling equipmens, not only offers rotating BOP, but also rotating control heads. The products primarilly include BW series and BG series. They are designed to handle today's most demanding underbalanced drilling requiements.

The rotating control head is a versatile, rotating stripper rubber which seals tightly around kelly, drill pipe, drill collar, tubing or casing and other drill string components while diverting dust, mud, air/gas, or steam away from the rig floor. Mud, dust, air/gas, or steam is diverted through the side outlet, thus keeping the wellhead and floor area safe. It can be used for drilling in areas susceptible to kicks or blowouts, drilling under pressure, drilling, underbalanced drilling.

The BG series rotating control head is a lower pressure product, while the BW series is a higher pressure product. The working pressure of BG series is up to 500psi and the BW series is up to 5000psi. Both of them are rotary or top drive capable and offer unprecedented serviceability of its dual stripper rubbers that are stretch-fit and self-actuating for additional safety, as pressures increase while drilling.

Drilling Spool

Drilling spool is suitable for drilling high-pressure oil wells. When spool side outlets are connected with matched valves and pipelines, it can carry on relieving operations, and link the preventer and wellhead at the same time.

Snubbing Unit

Under-balanced drilling is a word recognized advanced oil drilling technology. Snubbing unit is an equipment used in under-balanced drilling or work-over operation, which prevents blown-out at duration of changing drill bit and drill pipe and provides a press to drill pipe to overcome down-hole high pressure, instead of killing well.

Snubbing unit consists of upper and lower hydraulic spider assemblies, hydraulic power system and a control panel. Driven by hydraulic cylinder, the upper spider can pull up and press down drill pipes. A control panel is purposed for automatic operation.
